Lucy with the Big Bow

44” x 57”

One day I realized I was getting more anxiety than enjoyment out of quilting. I wanted every block trimmed precisely, every pieced point aligned exactly, every seam a perfect scant quarter-inch. It was paralyzing. So, I decided to break through my quilter’s block by chopping up my precious prints into strange shapes. This quilt was the result. And it was the start of a new, more joyous phase of quilting for me.
