I was shocked and honored to have this quilt win the Fabric Challenge category at QuiltCon 2020 in Austin, TX. The challenge presented four batik fabrics by Hoffman Me+You Indah Batiks to be used in your design (130-184 Willow, 157-15 Powder, 109-207 Sea Breeze, and 141-655 Chalk).

Dear former houseplants of my home,

I tried my best. You were lovely and I’m sorry I can’t seem to get the water or the light quite right. I made this quilt in your honor.
