The How Dare You quilt captures my fantasy moment of throwing a fancy drink in the face of an appallingly rude person. "How dare you?!" *Splash!* But… it also captures that movie moment in (500) Days of Summer where Reality fails to meet Expectations, and all the color of the scene drains away, leaving Tom in a black & white illustrated world of embarrassment and regret. I figure my drink-throwing fantasy ends in the stark reality of me making flustered offers to pay their dry cleaning bill.
